Product Description
Using an old Native American technique, I have created these Domed Copper Penny Swirl Earrings. These were made by hammering an old penny into a dome shamp, drilling it and then attaching my ear wires.

For this set of copper penny earrings, I drilled holes to hang a swirl from. I wrapped copper wire into a small swirl and attached it to my penny.

This pair of copper earrings hangs just over 2 1/2 inches from the hook. These are made from genuine copper.

These look great with your southwestern wear.

For cleaning, simply use any copper cleaner and polish with a soft cloth.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
The Native American culture has been using old coins to make jewelry with for hundreds of years. Coins of all kinds were hammered, drilled, and then attached by sodering or tying together to make some stunning jewelry.

The term "coin silver"came from just such a practice. Beautiful silver and copper work was accomplished from making use of American silver coins.
