This 18" (46cm) unique, one of a kind statement necklace was created for the 2012 Battle of the Beadsmith challenge. It is a bold necklace sure to draw attention to the wearer. The 13 stoneware cabochons were created by artists Vladislav Ivanov and Kremena Ivanova who own Golem Design Studios. Each cabochon is handmade and hand painted.

Each cabochon is surrounded by white, matte brown, and matte blue beads using bead embroidery. Each section is backed with a beautiful blue ultrasuede that matches the blue beads on the front. Decorative drops accent the edges of the cabochons which are combined in an asymmetrical freeform design. The clasp is made from two Golem beads and bead weaving.

The necklace is very comfortable to wear. It is 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm) wide at the widest part and hangs down 5 1/2 inches (14cm) at the neckline. It weighs 5 ounces.
