These pretty little earrings are just the right size for work or play. These spiral earrings are an inch and a quarter long with a three quarter inch drop, perfect for casual wear. They're super lightweight and comfortable. The simple overall design is enhanced by the intricate weave of fine silver around and through the spiral. The blue crystal in the center is faceted and iridescent.

The frame for these earrings is solid sterling silver that I hand twisted into a pair of graceful spirals. I used very thin fine silver to weave a pattern to fill the spirals with a sparkling texture that leads the eye to the sparkling iridescent crystal in the centers.

The spirals echo the grand design that carries throughout nature from the macro to the micro. They can be seen in the huge sweeping galaxies of the heavens all the way down through the tiniest of tiny, the very DNA strands that are the hallmark of life itself.

The design for these earrings came from the beautiful spiral sea creatures both past and present.
