This is a lovely hand knitted papoose and hat set for a baby covered with small bobbles.

It is a modern alternative to wrapping a baby in a shawl, as the papoose allows the baby to be encased in a warm and cosy sac.

The set is for a baby from three to six months, although it may be a bit large for a newborn it can still be able to be used at this age. Therfore allowing it to be used for a longer period of time than just the three months.

This set has been knitted from one of the lovely knitting patterns from Shifio's Patterns.

It is knitted with a lovely pale pink aran wool. It has been knitted on needles of Uk size 4.5mm or USA size 7. It is 14 inches or 35.5cm wide at the top of the papoose, and 24 inches or 66cm in length. The hat has a circumference on the inside of 18 inches or 46cm.
