Product Description

Pair of vintage brown mottled bakelite egg cups. Circa 1930s 1940s with an Art Deco moulded pattern to the outer edge.

Nice additions to a pocillovist or Art Deco collection.

Condition is average - on close inspection there is a hairline crack of approx .5in (1.5cm) on each egg cup. On one it is very faint and only on the outside and starts below the upper rim - on the other it starts on the top rim and can be felt on the inside and outside of the egg cup. Also some light scratching.

Mark on the bottom is "British U.P EG/1 Made" on the base of each cup and inside each is a tiny moulded number.
