Each butterfly shell is handpicked from the beaches off the Texas coast and then handcrafted into a beautiful, one of a kind piece of jewelry. Each seashell has it's own unique pattern on the front and back just like a thumb print, giving them their own identity. The most common butterfly shells are either purple or white but every once in a while you'll find one with stunning pinks, yellows, oranges or multiple colors all in one. Mother Nature can get very creative and never fails to show off her endless color palette and eye for beauty.

This butterfly shell pendant reminds me of night and day. The stripe in the center of it's wings separates the purple night sky from the soft hazy purple day in the lower part. The black cord is 16 inches with extra links to adjust the cord to 18 inches depending on the neck line you're wearing.
