This beautiful one of a kind blue agate necklace is made with 8mm faceted beads that are separated with Tibetan silver spacer bars. The agate pendant is 45mm has a silver plated bail and hangs 2 1/2" long. It has a fine silver plated chain at the throat is 16" and is finished with silver plated chain and clasp. The overall length is approximately 26". Would look stunning with a strapless jumpsuit or something with a deep neckline.

Agate chiefly chalcedony, characterised by its fineness of grain and brightness of color. Although agates may be found in various kinds of rock, they are classically associated with volcanic rocks and can be common in certain metamorphic rocks. Colorful agates and other chalcedonies were obtained over 3,000 years ago from the Achates River, now called Dirillo, in Sicily.
