Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

There used to be a restaurant on the western shore of Mobile Bay called Nan-Seas. It had a wonderful atmosphere with walls of mullioned windows overlooking the water. It was a magical experience to eat at Nan-Seas at any time but my favorites were when a storm was rolling along the bay.

The air was so pure, and so charged with energy, and the thunderhead clouds would pile up in layers of blue, lavender and silver right before it broke and that silvery rain would cascade down while I was sitting safe and secure, gobbling up some of the most delicious seafood I've ever tasted.

The shape the tanzanite beads take on in this ring reminds me so much of that place and those times that I couldn't resist naming it Thunderheads on Mobile Bay.
