This lil fishbone speaks for himself. Is he a fossil or does he swim in the sea? This curious creature has some whale tail stories to tell for sure.

This design is deeply engraved (without paint) into a handpicked Martha's Vineyard Beach stone. The stones come from Menemsha, East Chop, Chilmark or any of the fine beaches on the Island. (I'm always gathering stones!)
Every stone is different and one of a kind so please allow for variation. If you have a particular preference, just email me. Stone size varies from 1- 1.5 inches in size.

Instead of a glued on backing, I hand drill all of the stone pendants and set the post deep into the stone. This way you are viewing almost all of the stone and no reshaping. They are all ocean tossed from nature!

The entire backside is available for another engraving such as initials or perhaps a second design choice making your pendant reversible. Please see my other listings for reversible pendants or request a custom made item.

This pendant sits on a Sterling Silver jump ring and comes on an all leather 16" inch cord with adjuster chain for a length up to 17" inches and Silver tone Lobster Clasp. Cord color is in Black or deep Brown depending on the stones coloring.

Suede colored cords are also available and can be switched from the leather upon request at no additional charge. A Sterling Silver chain is also available for an additional $6.00 so if you prefer a chain please send me a message and I can create a listing just for you :)
