Our receiving blankets are a perfect size for even the little bundles that weighed into the world over 9 pounds lbs. Each blanket measures approximately 38 x 38 and has curved serged corners. This is a perfect size to allow you to swaddle longer. We've chosen this size specifically so that you don't have to triple wrap your newborn. Most standard store bought blankets are 30 x 30, and after they are washed a few times, those dimensions decrease. We pre-wash the fabric in a non-perfumed baby's Dreft detergent, so the initially shrinkage is taken care of prior to making.

Our blankets are not just for swaddling! They are wonderful stroller covers for when your little one is asleep and you want to keep the sun off of them, and are large enough to be used as a Nursing cover. They are single layer to prevent overheating.

Your receiving blanket will arrive in its very own packaging tied up all pretty with a coordinating ribbon, and ready for gift giving. Also included is a detailed pictured instruction sheet with how to swaddle your baby. A must for the new mom!
