It is a standard sized page saver that should fit with a wide array of reading material. It measures approximately 15 1/4 inches long from bead to bead, and the tassle adds about 3 inches to this. It is about 3/8 inch wide, and just under 1/8 inch thin, made of soft, flexible crochet thread as not to damage your binding or stain your pages.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I love reading a good book, but usually am interrupted many, many times before I can finish. I got frustrated not having a bookmark around, and really didn't like tearing off the nearest scrap of paper to use for one, so I made one. I loved how it looked sitting on my nightstand (or wherever I happend to leave it) that I didn't worry about finding a place to hide it when I wasn't reading it, even after I had finished.

I lovingly call them Page Savers because when I read and am interrupted, I think "I'll just save my page and get right back to it". Of course, I dodn't always get right back to it, but the thought of just 'saving the page' was more comforiting than 'marking' it for later use.
