Wire Wrapped One of a Kind Long Necklace, Copper and Mexican Agate

I wire wrapped these beautiful amber colored mexican agate tumbled stones and hand crafted two large coiled copper beads to include in this one of a kind wire wrapped necklace.

This wire wrapped necklace measures a generous 33 inches, allowing you to wear it as a two strand necklace or let it swing long.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

Although Mexican agates were first documented in 1895, it wasn't until some 50 years later that a few American
rockhounds traveling a newly constructed highway between Ciudad Juárez and Ciudad Chihuahua found small agates not far
from the roadway. It was a discovery that would initiate an agate rush throughout Chihuahua that would continue into the
late 1960's.
