I'm Game Upcycled Tin

Product Description

The tin measures 3" x 3" (length and width) and is approximately 4 3/4 inches deep. "I'm Game" is a tin I've painted and decorated in a game-room theme. The lid and tin are lined with green crafting felt, and there is the same felt on the bottom of the tin. The tiles, which spell out the word, "play," are edged with an opal gold paint. It was really fun to make, and some of the papers I used to decorate it are vintage papers.

This tin would be good for holding a couple of decks of cards, game pieces, dice, poker chips--whatever one might want to put in it. It's a great piece to add to a family room, bar, or game room.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

My family plays a lot of cards and pool and Scrabble(TM) and such. The shape of the tin itself is what inspired me. Though the red is a bit dark, to me, the red and the green felt together are reminiscent of a poker table or a pool table.
