This ceramic pink pig butter dish cover and oval tray is a great way to add a touch of the country farm to any table setting or kitchen decor. This pig butter dish is made to hold 1/4 pound stick butter. This pink pig is made of slip cast ceramics in my studio located in central Texas. Each pig butter dish is finished in food safe glazes, all detail is hand painted.

The pig butter dish or tray is approximately 8" long X 6" wide and is oval in shape, it is a soft white. The pink pig lid measures approximately 6" long X 3" wide. The overall height of the pig butter dish is approximately 3" tall. Both of the pieces are dishwasher safe and food safe.

This ceramic pig butter dish is made of slip cast ceramics using a plaster mold for uniformity and fired in my kiln to a temperature of nearly 2000 degrees. The bisque pig is underglazed in pink and all detail is added, the pig and oval butter tray are glazed in two coats of non-toxic clear glaze and the pieces are kiln fired a second time. All materials used to create this pig butter dish are from the USA.

Coordinating items are available including a creamer and sugar bowl, napkin holder, napkin rings, salt and pepper shakers and a spoon rest.
