Look no further for a purse for your toddler or preschooler! At my craftshows, I hear mothers say, "I have looked everywhere for a purse like this for my daughter!"

Why haven't you seen a purse like this before? I designed the pattern myself to be fun, functional and safe. It has a short handle, so you won't have to worry about a strap getting tangled around your sweetie's neck. I purposely do not add any type of closures on my purse. No buttons, velcro or zippers means that there are no chokables. As the purse remains forever open, your child will easily be able to add and remove objects, while you can take a quick peak to see if she borrowed your car keys.

This particular purse is made from 100% cotton fabric from Moda. It is made from the full line of Birdie. The lining is a washable silkie in turquoise.

The patchwork is quilted, meaning that this purse will be both sturdy and stylish! The binding is handstitched.

Measurements are: 7 inches wide by 7.5 inches high (excluding handle)

Children respond to beautiful well-made playthings. As a mother, I am often frustrated by the sheer volume of junk that is marketed to my children. By creating these little purses, I hope to provide parents with an alternative to toxic, dangerous, and annoying toys. I promise that this little purse will never beep, flash, or growl in the middle of the night!
