Big Joe was sculpted In handblended shades of green and pearl white polymer clay. And he's a BIG boy - 5-inches (fin to fin) by 5-inches (top to bottom) by 6-inches (tail to kissable lips). But despite his size, he's a relative lightweight because he's hollow - sculpted over a 4-inch glass ornament.

We live in Florida and have always loved puffer fish - little fish with delusions of grandeur. We were looking at the glass ornaments we'd bought for ornament bases we were suddenly reminded of puffer fish and what a great way to make them lightweight!
