This votive candle holder will certainly cause comment, both from its multiple color abstract polymer clay cane coating in standard light and the absolutely gorgeous colors visible when lit at night.



Made with transluscent and opague polymer clay covering a glass interior, this object is 7-inches tall and over 2-inches in diameter. It will work with tea light, votive, and regular stick candles. However, removing melted wax from use with a stick candle will be difficult due to the narrowness of the holder.

As a person of the "flower power" generation, countless hours of my late teens and early 20s were spent in rooms lit by candles. Perhaps I am drawn to the flickering lights as a means to recapture my youth. Or maybe it's just my ADD: ooo, look, shiny! Whatever the reason, I am very pleased with the way this candle holder turned out.
