Product Description
This Coquí stands guard over your treasures, not caring whether they are diamond jewelery, dollars and spare change, or a single baby's tooth, but protecting all of your prized possessions with an equal amount of determination and love.

----------

For those of you who do not know what a Coquí is, a Coquí is a little tree frog that is native to the island of Puerto Rico. It acts as an unofficial national symbol for those that live there. For their size, they sing a loud song, the male singing "Coquí! Coquí!" throughout the night. They are also one of the few frogs that do not require water to breed in, laying their eggs on leaves and abandoned bird nests during the wet season, and froglets hatch fully formed rather then spending the start of their life as tadpoles.

This hand sculpted polymer clay tin is perfect to show either pride in these beautiful little frogs, or to add a unique tropical splash to your home or workplace.

PLEASE NOTE: This tin once contained peppermint candies, and while I wash the tins before working on them, there may be trace elements of peppermint dust in it. If you are allergic to peppermints, purchase at own risk.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
We fell in love with these singing frogs during our family vacation last summer. Because the place we lived didn't have air conditioning, the windows were always open -- the Coquís sang us to sleep every night. The roosters started trying to wake us up at 3AM, but that's an entirely different story!
