This whimsical bracelet and necklace set is handmade from polymer clay to resemble gum that has been repurposed. The bracelets "gum" is in varying bead shapes separated by gold-tone beads that look somewhat like dental crowns. The necklace consists of a large focal wad (I mean bead!) with a gold-tone metal "crown" bead on either side. I was going to string it on white grosgrain ribbon, but it looked too much like dental floss, so I strung it on black instead (even I have a slight sense of decorum!).



This piece would be wonderful for someone with a great (or twisted!) sense of humor or definitely would make a good gift for your dentist or favorite dental hygenist. And you can guarantee them that its sugar free.



The set is heavily glazed for that ultimate "wet" shine.



The necklace ribbon is adjustable from approximately 15- to 30-inches. The bracelet is 9-inches long.

I was trying to come up with a good gumball color for my candy necklace and just couldn't get it right for that, but it was great for ABC gum. OK, OK!!! I really have no excuse except I had the right color clay, and a friend dared me to.

Mom keeps shaking her head and laughing when she looks at them. But she did model them for the pictures, so somewhere -- deep, DEEP inside -- she likes them, too!
