Quetzalcotl Polymer Clay Pendant

$15.00
Quantity: 1 available
Product Description
This faux jade pendant has a Quetzalcoatal sculpted on it. Because the sculpture is a solid color, it has been treated with acrylic paint to emphasize the indented areas of the winged serpent.

Wear him as a pendant, hang him from your rear-view mirror, use him as a focal bead on your keychain or a decoration for your purse or backpack. Add a magnet and he'll even guard the kitchen refrigerator. He'll be happy as long as he's with you!

Handmade from polymer clay and hand-sculpted by elves (that's me, Mindsend), he's ready to start his journey home to you today.

Increase the total to $50 dollars and I will string the pendant as a necklace on beading wire with glass beads (in your color preference), gold- or silver-tone spacer beads, and a clasp. Or you can request polymer clay beads (again, your color preference) instead of glass beads. Convo me with your request. If you want the additional necklace, and you are using PayPal to pay, do not pay the initial invoice you receive. After we determine your bead and color preferences, I'll send you a revised invoice.

I've put a light glaze on this pendant to bring out the colors. If you prefer a higher gloss, let me know and I'll reglaze it before I send it to you.

PLEASE NOTE: The dragon in the last image is an example of a pendant I created that was turned into a full necklace. I made the dragon for my mom as a Mothers Day present. It is just an example of how these can look as necklaces. !!THE PURPLE DRAGON NECKLACE IS NOT FOR SALE!!
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
The quetzalcoatal is a Mesoamerican deity. Its name comes from the Nahuatl language and means feathered-serpent. My fascination with the quetzalcoatal is probably an outcropping of my love of dragons.
