This faux jade pendant has a Quetzalcoatal sculpted on it. Because the sculpture is a solid color, it has been treated with acrylic paint to emphasize the indented areas of the winged serpent.





Wear him as a pendant, hang him from your rear-view mirror, use him as a focal bead on your keychain or a decoration for your purse or backpack. Add a magnet and he'll even guard the kitchen refrigerator. He'll be happy as long as he's with you!

Increase the total to $50 dollars and I will string the pendant as a necklace on beading wire with glass beads (in your color preference), gold- or silver-tone spacer beads, and a clasp. Or you can request polymer clay beads (again, your color preference) instead of glass beads. Convo me with your request. I've put a light glaze on this pendant to bring out the colors. If you prefer a higher gloss, let me know and I'll reglaze it before I send it to you.

The quetzalcoatal is a Mesoamerican deity. Its name comes from the Nahuatl language and means feathered-serpent. My fascination with the quetzalcoatal is probably an outcropping of my love of dragons.
