These lentil shaped beads are handcrafted from polymer clay in rich jewel tone colors. They were created from my own moulds I made myself and then pure mica powder pigments and inks were applied. Both sides of the beads are identical and are glazed for a permanent shiny finish. These look gorgeous in a variety of jewelry designs from everything from a bracelet to a necklace and even on their own as a focal pendant. They can be made without a hole if you prefer to use as a cabochon.

Each bead is created from my own color mixes and canes and then formed by hand so can result in very slight variations in each piece.

I saw a bracelet with some beautiful glass beads and decided to create my own method of imitating these rich jewel tone colors in polymer clay. I now teach this technique to other polymer clay artists.
