Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
One technique is to do a greyscale underpainting. This establishes the tonal values and then you glaze over it with layers of color, building up in passes to the finished piece. I decided to do just the greyscale for this one in oil, and then another with acrylics as the greyscale to build color on.

These were in preparation as technique study's for this decade's self portrait.
