Product Description
This is a beautiful vintage fine china dinner plate from Jyoto, made in occupied Japan, available here at CandyAppleCrafts. It is rimmed in an ornate scalloped orange and green motif with brightly colored flowers, a pale ivory verge with white center, and a smooth gold edge.

This particular pattern is apparently rather rare. It is known as "Pattern JYO58." I don't know any other name for it. Since it is labeled "Occupied Japan," it was produced some time between August 1945 and April 1952, most likely about half-way between those dates. This was part of the post-WWII recovery of Japan's economy. It is a piece of history!

10 in. D x 1 in. T (US)

Condition notes: There are a couple of minor manufacturing mistakes near the floral motif, as pictured. Look closely. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or stains. This plate has been well cared for, possibly never used. I am selling it as is.

Shipped standard post domestic with delivery confirmation, signature confirmation, and insurance. No international shipping on this item.
