Czech Seed Beads Silver Metallic Size 10 - Preciosa the traditional Czech seed beads. Add metallic silver to your designs - these seed beads resemble miniature silver beads.

Add some sparkle to your designs. Mix them with pearls, gemstones, glass, 6/0, 8/0, 10/0, 11/0 and 14/0 or 15/0, druks, daggers, tila beads, Twin Beads in the same, or other colors and finishes for dimension, depth and texture. Used as a design element in jewelry with gemstones, pearls, glass lampwork beads as spacers and bead bumpers and drops. The holes are large enough to slip over eye and head pins for earrings and drops.

The seed bead chart 'Bead Weight and Measures' states "these amounts are approximate and may vary" and lists size 10 seed beads thus: "1 hank = 3920 beads [2600 divided by 3920 =0.663265 / 2/3rds of a hank], 10 hanks = 1/2 kilo and so on. 1/2 Kilo = 500 grams = 1.1 pounds, Gram = .035 ounces, Ounce = 28.35 grams. 28.35 x 1.2 ounces = 34.02 grams. By grams, if 10 hanks make up 1/2 kilo, which equals 500 grams, one tenth of that = 50 grams. Dividing 34.02 grams by 50 gives you .6804 hanks or slightly more than 2/3rds of a hank.
