Product Description

Fused glass earrings featuring blue and green dichroic glass on a black base. The dichroic glass sparkles primarily with blue and green but has touches of gold and purple depending n the lighting.

The glass portion of these earrings measures approximately 3/8" x 7/16" (1 cm x 1.2 cm). They dangle approximately 1 1/16" (2.7 cm) from sterling silver ear wires.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

These earrings were created by precisely cutting and assembling multiple pieces of fusible glass. The glass is then "fused" together by firing in a kiln to approximately 1450 degrees. Next, a diamond bit grinder is used to shape the edges and it goes back into the kiln for a final "fire polishing". Finally, a specialty two part adhesive is used to securely attach the glass to the earring back.

All of my items are handcrafted in my Resetar Glass Art Studio in Roswell, GA, USA.
