Each butterfly shell is handpicked from the beaches off the Texas coast and handmade into a beautiful, unique piece of jewelry. Each shell has it's own unique pattern on the front and back just like a thumb print, giving them their own identity. The most common butterfly shells are either purple or white but every once in a while you'll find one with beautiful pinks, yellows, oranges or multiple colors all in one. Mother Nature can get very creative and never fails to show off her endless color palette and eye for beauty.

This purple butterfly shell pendant has been jazzed up with a fun and unique sterling silver bale that spirals around a sparkly little black bead. The shell pendant comes with an 18 inch black cord with a silver plated spring ring for the clasp. I'd be more than happy to change the length of the cord if needed.
