Here is a marvelous set of 13 digital stamps from the Wizard of Oz of Dorothy, Toto (twice), the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Cowardly Lion, the Wizard, the Wicked Witch of the West, Glinda the Good Witch of the South, the Good Witch of the North, three Munchkins, the Scarecrow and Tin Woodsman carrying a sleeping Dorothy, and even the words "Wizard of Oz" in an Art Nouveau script.

These stamps are made from William Wallace Denslow's original illustrations for the first edition of Frank L. Baum's _The Wizard of Oz_, published in 1900. The illustrations themselves are public domain due to age. I have converted them into digital stamps - .png files of at least 300 dpi / ppi.

In the book, Dorothy receives silver shoes rather than ruby slippers, and Glinda is the Good Witch of the South. The Good Witch of the North is a grandmotherly woman with an extremely long wand! The Wicked Witch of the West wears a fantastically tall hat and spats and carries an umbrella!

These stamps are available individually in my studio for $1.50 to $2 each, so if you want all of them, this is a bargain! The 13 stamps you get and their approximate "default sizes" are:

1) Dorothy holding the Silver Shoes: 1 3/4" x 2 1/8" (4.4 cm x 5.5 cm)

2) Toto: 1" x 7/8" (2.3 cm x 2.2 cm)

3) Toto sitting up wearing Emerald City goggles: 1/2" x 3/4" (1 cm x 1.7 cm)

4) The Scarecrow: 3/4" x 1 1/2" (1.8 cm x 3.5 cm)

5) The Tin Woodman: 2 1/4" x 5" (5.5 cm x 12.5 cm)

6) The Cowardly Lion: 4" x 4 1/2" (10 cm x 11.5 cm)

7) The Wizard sitting on a stool: 1.5" x 3 1/4" (3.7 cm x 8 cm)

8) Glinda: 1/8" x 1/4" (32 mm x 60 mm) - I apologize that she is so small, but there was only one illustration of Glinda by Denslow that I could use and it was tiny.

9) The Wicked Witch of the West sitting in a chair: 1 1/2" x 5 3/8" (4 cm x 13.6 cm)

10) The Good Witch of the North: 5 1/4" x 1 3/4" (13.2 cm x 4.5 cm)

11) Three Munchkin Gentlemen: 3" sq (7.6 cm sq)

12) The Scarecrow and Tin Woodman carrying a sleeping Dorothy and Toto out of the Poppy Field: 2" x 1 1/2" (5.2 cm x 3.9 cm)

13) "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" in Art Nouveau lettering: 2 3/4" x 1" (7 cm x 2.2 cm)

All of them can be resized to fit your needs, though I apologize that the stamp of Glinda will not enlarge very far. I used the only image of her by Denslow that I had. (I will have larger and better ones when I convert the later illustrations by John R. Neill).

These images have been cleaned up from the originals, and are at least 300 ppi (pixels per inch) resolution. They are .png files. If you prefer .jpg format, please let me know.

All of my digital stamps are AT LEAST 300 ppi (pixels per inch). They are transparent .png files. If you prefer or require .jpg images, please contact me and I will try to accommodate you (some images don't do well as .jpg files.)

My digital stamps are made from public domain graphics. You may resize them, and use them for any application you wish, digital and non-digital. However, please do not share the digital files (either individual or collected in a .zip file). What you are paying me for is the time it took me to clean up the images and convert them to single color transparent files. Please respect that work and do not distribute the files themselves. Print them out or incorporate them in your work online any way you wish, however!
