This is a digital stamp of Dorothy's dog Toto, sitting up and wearing the spectacles needed when visiting the Emerald City, from the original 1900 edition of the Wizard of Oz, illustrated by William Wallace Denslow. The Emerald city is so bright that if you don't wear the special spectacles the brightness "would blind you." Even the inhabitants of the City must wear them "night and day." So here is Toto with own special pair, and a cheery bow about his neck.

This stamp would be great for any Oz themed crafts you have - just resize it to fit your needs and print it out. This digital stamp is also available as part of a 13 stamp set of illustrations by Denslow. Please check my studio for the set if you prefer!

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
Then the green man fitted spectacles for the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman and the Lion, and even on little Toto; and all were locked fast with the key.

Then the Guardian of the Gates put on his own glasses and told them he was ready to show them to the palace. Taking a big golden key from a peg on the wall he opened another gate, and they all followed him through the portal into the streets of the Emerald City.
