This lovely vintage English tin has 4 cheerful sparrows in colors of red & browns & grays with white accents, perched upon branches of pink cherry blossoms. The tree branches have metallic gold accents. The pattern of 4 birds on flowering branches is repeated once on the other side. The background is a low gloss black. The lid fits snugly and the overall vintage condition is great! The lower edge reads - Container Made in England.

Use this lovely tin to stash tea bags, or sugar packets in your kitchen. Use it on a shelf to accent a stack of books, while it also stores matches or what ever you choose. This very decorative tin would be wonderful in the bathroom to hold samples of beauty care products.

This vintage English tin is approximately 4.5 inches tall and 3 5/8' wide. It will hold about 16 ounces. It is meant for dry storage only. There are some normal signs of wear, especially on the bottom edges with finish worn off and base metal showing. The tin is in very good shape with one scratch below a bird (visible in the last photo). The inside is very clean with very minimal signs of wear. Overall this vintage English Tin is quite lovely and will be a very useful & decorative storage container to give or keep. Give as a gift and fill with handmade chocolates for a very special Valentines Day keepsake.
