This one off mini bowler in teal 100% wool with it's bright yellow flower will brighten any day. You can wear it at a jaunty angle on top of a simple hair style or an elaborate hair sculpture, either way it looks fabulous, funky and fun. It measures 9cm (3.5 inches) tall and 29.5 cm (11.5 inches) around the hat band. The bright yellow felt flower has a wooden yellow button at it's centre.

The mini hats are perfect to top off that special outfit to an event, or just simply to brighten up your day. They are much loved by festival goers, burlesque & circus performers, belly dancers and clubbers alike. They just finish off that special outfit. They look really great perched atop a giant pile of dreads or falls, but equally set off a simple everyday hair style too. You can wear them everywhere you go, or just keep them for those extra special occasions, it is up to you.

This hat comes with a pinning strip around the inside of its brim (hair pins are not provided with the hat), but it can be attached to a hair comb or Alice band if you prefer. Leave a message in the customer notes if you would like me to do this.

The process of making these hats is fairly long and uses a large amount of yarn. Firstly the hat gets hand knitted to about twice the size the finished product will be and then it is hand felted down to its finished size. This can take two or three washings and drying to achieve the finished size. I do not machine wash them to do this as I have found that it ruins the colours.
