This earthy pair of dangle earrings is made from fancy jasper rounds, betel seed beads, silver metal beads, and hand-fashioned wire spirals. The central beads are silver-plated copper rectangles with an ornamental beaded cluster on the front and back. The cluster is somewhat suggestive of a diamond shape. These beads were handmade in India. On the bottom of each dangle is a fancy jasper round with green color tones and a slight hint of ruddy warmth, as well as a TierraCast daisy spacer. On top is a fancy jasper round with a range of earthy brownish red (and subtle hints of pinkish red), and a betel seed with dark to medium warm brown tones. The wire used is non-tarnish silver plate and is given an elongated wrap at the dangle's top. Little handmade "charms" in spiral shapes are also added to the top.

The ear hooks are French style and sterling silver. The sterling mark is on the rear of the hooks. They come with clear earnuts (also known as stoppers) to help keep these earthy earrings more secure on your ears.

The length for this pair is around 2 1/4 inches, including hooks. Please see my photos for a picture of the length as measured alongside a ruler.

A bit whimsical, with a rustic quality, these are a lovely fun pair of earrings perfect for casual wear.

These earrings are a tribute to the lighter side of the character of Eowyn in "Lord of the Rings," and their whimsy suggests the promise of a happy future for her in a world sans Sauron. They were made in tandem with an Eowyn tribute bracelet, currently also listed in my shop. The bracelet is quite serious, and these earrings were designed to go with the bracelet while also being appropriate as stand-alones.
