A recycled circuit board clock, embellished with an array of bright colorful vintage beads, is another in our series of " How Does Your Garden Grow" one of a kind ( OOAK ) clocks. A perfect Mother's Day gift with non perishable flowers!

A 7 1/2" x 6 1/4" vintage circuit board ( originally a neutral creme color ), was treated by me with a special technique that took me years to perfect , so that it is now a very soft pale aqua green - a beautiful 'back drop' for the ' garden'.
It has been permanently mounted on an acrylic stand so that the overall height is approximately 10" to the top of the flowers.

This 'garden' that grows from the top of this funky clock is made up of vintage German and Japanese lucite and glass beads from the 1950's , threaded on to twisted and coiled vintage telephone wire and contemporary anodized aluminum coated wire. There are also fabulous and quite old ( from the 1940's ) Japanese white glass leaves on either side of the flowers as you can see in the photos).

A recycled violet blue CD has been treated in such a way to create a marbled effect and is the actual clock face. Vintage West German peridot green colored lucite cabochons from the 1950's sit on top of vintage brass and mark the hours as do the textured brass stampings from a jewelry factory that went out of business in the 1970's.

◉ Please note that none of the circuit boards that we use in any of our products have ever been used or stuffed so they are all smooth to the touch.

This clock comes with a precision quartz clock movement as do all our clocks and a battery will be included.
