These two part copper earrings are hand forged with an impression from an old German coin, hammered and then patinaed to achieve the darkened antique look. I have coated them with Rennaissance Wax to protect the finish. The earrings are about 5/8 inch at the widest part, and 2 1/4 inches in length.

Recently, I have begun experimenting with rustic metalwork and patinas. I will be using various colors of patina and trying out new techniques to achieve old looks. You will be seeing more of my metalwork and its development in the coming weeks.
