Product Description
Vintage 1956 Carolyn Keene - Nancy Drew Mystery Stories Book, "The Hidden Window Mystery", First Edition

Okay ... here's the plot:

A magazine article offering a large reward to anyone who can find a missing medieval stained-glass window intrigues Nancy Drew. Nancy asks Bess and George to join her on a search in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Before the three friends leave River Heights, their adversary tries to get them to postpone the trip. But no luck. Nancy is determined to carry through her plans.

Now here is your dilemma:

This lovely 1st edition from the original Nancy Drew Mystery Stories - do you gift it to a young adventure reader you love or does the thought of the wonderful binding and illustrations play more to your fancy? A tough decision!

The Hidden Window Mystery was first published in 1956 and is the 34th of the original series of 56 books which were published between 1930 and 1979. This is a wonderful 1st edition book and in very nice vintage condition at 55+ years!

The front end-paper has been removed (cleanly) and someone who I suspect was a previous owner has written her name on the front page. The binding is tight and the pages are without tear or creasing.

There are the occasional light page-marking dog ears and pencil marks. Nothing of significance. The cover base and corners show slight shelf wear and the book measures 5.125 x 7.25" (13x18 cm).

Perfect for your tag and card creations, scrap book page making, for your collage, mixed media, altered books - wonderful to gift to your favorite sleuth!

I'll send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
