Charming Miska Petersham lithographs, gleaned from a 1926 collection of French children's nursery poems, songs, folk tales, and fairy tales.

A sweet big sister, peeking in on her little sister asleep in her cradle ~ darling! On the paper's reverse, another sweet illustration with a Big Game Hunter on his hobby horse stalking the fierce wild crickets!

Petersham's work is charmingly simple and remains absolutely timeless. The heavy paper measures 8" x 10.875" (20x28 cm), and is smooth and clear, showing little tanning.

The edges are clean and smooth, the lithography is strong and clear, and the colors are sweet and bright. There are no folds, tears, mark, or creases on the paper.
