Lacy natural birch leaf with antique silver finish hangs from 30" sterling silver chain. The chain has an unusual open link that sparkles and provides the perfect complement to the bohemian style of the pendant.

Pendant is made from a birch leaf that was hand picked in Northern California, and then preserved in pure silver electroplate. Leaf is approximately 2" long and 1 1/2" wide. With the bail, it hangs to approximately 2 1/2' below the chain. Accented with turquoise and yellow dangling seed beads.

**Birch leaves are said to symbolize beginnings, renewal and youth.

ELECTROFORM PROCESS: The electro-plating process begins with a handpicked leaf that was soaked in a special solution to dissolve the fleshly portions of the leaf. What remains is the harder leaf veins and edges, which are hand painted with a copper based paint to conduct electricity. The leaf is then dipped into a solution of 24 kt gold, pure silver, pure copper or a mixture that makes a unique color.

Please note that the leaf will develop a natural patina over time.

All components and hook and eye clasp are sterling silver.
