Hammered copper rings are linked together with sterling silver jump rings, on hand forged round sterling silver ear wires.


Dangling from a pair of handmade, in my Michigan Studio, ear wires are two sterling silver jump ringfs attaching two hammered circles of copper, to make my favorite combination of metal, earrings.

These hang approximately 1/14 inches from the 1/2 inch round earwires for a total lenght 1/34 inches.

These are perfect for everyday wear.they dress up pr down, I can see these worn for work or casually with jeans.

I start with sterling silver wire, wrap it around a mandrel. I then cut the coiled wire with a jewelers saw into individulal 1/2 inch in circumference open links. A loop is added to one end, the other end is filed round with a diamond file.

These raw earrings are then tumbled in a rotary tumbler with stainless steel shot. This procedure both hardens and
shines the silver.

These ear wires are the most comfortable wires I've ever worn. they don't poke your neck like some traditional shaped ear wires can.
