Handmade Wire Wrapped Green Ceramic Heart on Black Cord Necklace

Product Description

Wire wrapped deep olive green ceramic heart with black/dark green speckles. Wire wrapping is done with artisan silver wire and will not tarnish. The heart pendant is finished with 3 silver toned hearts dangling on various lengths of change. Necklace beads are black stone and pewter finished metal beads. The small accent beads alternating with the black stone are small stylized daisies all strung on black simulated leather cord. Closure is a toggle for ease of putting on and taking off.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

I was looking through my stash of focal beads and came across this lovely green and black heart. I knew that this was the stone that must be wire wrapped and used in my next creation. Once I had the pendant completed my next challenge was to decide if it was a pendant for a necklace or should it be something else. While rummaging through my accent beads the simulated pewter complimented the dangling hearts. Because of the intricate details of the pendant the necklace must be more simple in design. Hence the cord and black beads. This was a real fun piece to make. As in all my other pieces this was an organic process. Creations seem to sprout and grow underneath my fingers.
