Brag Book, Mini Photo Album for 4"x6" Pictures- Pastel Rainbow Fern Frond Sunprint Fabric Cover- 5"x7"- includes purchased photo book- Holds 36 photos. The front cover of this album features one of my sunprints of a fern frond over a pastel painted fabric in pinks, green, and blue. The spine and back cover has piece of my hand painted fabric in blue with pale sunprints from feathery Cosmos foliage on it. A heathery gray-black yarn is couched over the seams between fabric pieces using a variegated thread and decorative stitch. The ribbon for the closure is decorated with an aqua glass bead, and wraps around a gold tone button with a sunflower on it to hold your album closed securely.

My sunprints are created by painting fabric with acrylic textile paints. Fresh or pressed leaves, flowers, shapes cut from foam sheets, or other items are placed onto the wet paint, then the fabric is put in the sun to dry. The drying process causes the prints to form. The paint under the objects wicks out from underneath along with the water, as the fabric around the objects dries. There is no way to know exactly how a print will develop, due to variations in drying conditions, application of the paint, type of fabric, etc. No two will ever be alike, because the paint won't dry exactly the same way twice.

Moms and Grandmothers everywhere love to brag about their families with pictures of their loved ones. This photo brag book cover will keep those photos safe in a stylish and pretty way. Small enough to slip into a purse, and large enough to hold 36 photos. The cover has pockets inside to hold the covers of the photo album.

Being a grandmother myself, I like to carry pictures of my grandkids with me to show off. I was bored with the plain look of most photo brag books or albums, so I created my covers to make them look much nicer. The book covers are made using a heavy interfacing as the base material that results in a very durable, reusable cover for your little album of pictures.

I have also designed covers for many different sizes of journals, composition books, in addition to the "brag" books for photos. The final photo is of a group of some of other covers made in this group.
