Decorative Fabric Notebook or Journal Cover- Rose with Fern and Flower Sunprint- Use as Sketchbook, Journal, or School Work.

This Sturdy and Beautiful Decorative notebook, journal, or sketch book cover is made from various hand painted and sunprinted fabrics fused and stitched onto heavy interfacing. The central panel on the front is a sunprint of Ferns, and a flower on pink, blue and green painted fabric, accented with a rose batik fabric. The back of the cover is a unique fabric that has been gelatin printed with grasses . Inside cover pockets are from a painted piece of fabric in shades of green to blue, a soft lavender fabric is used for the inside cover and notebook pockets are a green and pink floral printed fabric.

Spiral notebook- 1 subject, 10.5x8", college ruled, is included. When notebook is full, just add a new one.

My covers have pockets for extra papers inside both front and back, along with a pocket to hold a pen or pencil (not included). The notebook is held in place by another set of pockets, with a ribbon tie to hold the spiral more securely.

Various coordinating sunprinted or hand painted fabrics are used on the outside of the cover, with other painted or commercial fabrics used for the inner pockets. A flap wraps around to the front, with a large button that you wrap a ribbon cord attached to the cover around, for the closure. This allows you to still close the cover easily even after adding extra papers, etc. A large decorative bead on the end of the cord will keep the cord in place, and a flower button is stitched over the end of the ribbon cord on the cover. My painted fabrics have all been heat set for permanence, and surfaces can be cleaned if needed with a damp cloth. Each cover is an original. No two can ever be alike due to the use of my unique fabrics. If you would like a cover in a color other than one shown, please contact me. I can create a cover for you in your favorite colors.
