Kit to Make a Reusable Grocery or Tote Bag, With Pattern- Eggplant, Deep Green, and Mauve Prints. This pattern with pre-cut fabric kit takes the guess work out of making your own bag. The kit includes all the fabrics needed to make one bag, pre-cut and ready for construction. Fabric pieces and strips are marked so you know where they are used. This kit consists of fabrics in shades of deep green, eggplant plum, sage green, and coordinating prints in mauve and plum tones. The handles for this bag are deep green along with the lining fabric. The bottom of the outside of the bag and the top binding are the deep eggplant color. There is also a piece of fusible web that is needed in one of the steps in this project. All you need to provide is thread, a sewing machine and basic sewing skills.

The bag you will make from this kit is stylish as well as very sturdy. I designed my bags to be as durable as possible while looking good at the same time. Much more eco-friendly than paper or plastic bags. The quality 100% cotton fabrics make your bag machine wash and dryable. These bags are designed to last for years. I have used one of my first bags for over 2 years now and it has gone through the wash many times and carried my purse, water bottle and other items on many excursions. Heavy loads of groceries are no problem.

My grocery or tote bag pattern that is included will guide you through the steps of construction. All of my patterns include many photos to help you see the processes.

I designed my bags to be as durable as possible so that they can be used daily for many years. The pre-cut fabric kits make them easier to make if you are not someone who has done a lot of sewing projects and has lots of leftovers from various projects. There is a wide variety of coordinating fabrics in my kits, saving you from having to guess at what looks good together.

Kits are available to make 1 or two bags, and are also available without the pattern for those who have already purchased one previously. The fabrics will be packaged as shown in the photos. The PDF Pattern will emailed to you upon payment of the order so you will be able to read through it while you are waiting for your fabric kit to arrive.

If you would prefer your pattern sent to you on a CD, please let me know in the message to seller area during check-out. This option may be better for those who may not have high speed internet connections, as the pattern file is quite large.
