This is a Kit to Make 2 Basic Reusable Grocery or Tote Bags- Burgundy-Red, Green and Blue, Including Pattern. This kit includes my pattern and all the pre-cut fabrics needed for making two of your own Grocery or Tote bags. The fabrics included are quality 100% cotton prints in shades of burgundy red, green and deep blue. The fabrics are shown in the first photo and somewhat approximate the widths of the strips after sewing. The Burgundy Red fabric lying on top of the other fabrics is the handle fabric. The lining fabric is a green and white ivy leaf print. The featured fabric in this kit is small ivy with bird houses print. This can be easily seen in most of the photos. The deep green, sparkly deep blue and burgundy red are colors pulled from the featured fabric. Pieces of fusible web that are needed in one of the steps of the constructions of the bags is also included. All you need to provide is thread; a sewing machine; iron; rotary cutter, ruler and mat; and basic sewing skills. This would be an easy project for a beginner.

The fabrics included in this kit will make two matching bags, with the same fabrics for each bag. You can change the look of them by stitching the strips in a different order if you prefer. These bags are as good looking as they are sturdy. I designed my bags to be a durable as possible while looking great at the same time. Much more eco-friendly than paper or plastic bags. The quality 100% cotton fabrics make your bags machine wash and dry able. These bags are designed to last for years. I have used one of my first bags for over 2 years now and it has gone through the wash many times and carried my purse, water bottle and other items on many excursions. Heavy loads of groceries are no problem.

I designed my bags to be as durable as possible so that they can be used daily for many years. The pre-cut fabric kits make them easier to make if you are not someone who has done a lot of sewing projects and has lots of leftovers from various projects. There is a wide variety of coordinating fabrics in my kits, saving you from having to guess at what looks good together.

Kits are available to make 1 or two bags, and are also available without the pattern for those who have already purchased one previously. The PDF Pattern will emailed to you upon payment of the order to read through while you are waiting for your fabric kit to arrive.

**If you would prefer your pattern sent to you on a CD, please let me know in the message to seller area during check-out. This option may be better for those who may not have high speed internet connections, as the pattern file is quite large.
