Product Description
QUIMPER Henriot France Pottery Jug Spouts Handle Folk Art vintage

A piece of beautiful pottery - QUIMPER - made by HenRiot, in Brittany, France.

A JUG with a double spout & a single handle in the center.
Fat, with a nice short pedestal.
Patterns on the two sides are different.
The colors are lovely.

The Jug is signed:
HenRiot . Quimper . France . 116
on the bottom. (see pic)

Measuring 6" high & about 5 1/2" wide with a nice weight.

The spout on the left side has 3 chips in the glaze, revealing the pinkish beige pottery underneath. The pic shows the extent of the chipping. There are no cracks. Other than that, the piece is in very good condition.

Quimper, France . Brittany:

Quimper faïence pottery has been made since 1690, using bold provincial designs of Jean-Baptiste Bousquet.

Searching the web, it looks like this piece of Quimper was perhaps made between the 1920s & the late 1960s.
But, not being an authority, this is my speculation through observation & general research.
Not an accredited appraisal.

However, through all the searching, I never saw a piece even similar to this one.
