A conceptual art piece inspired by a Peruvian mummy that had been bound and buried, this piece is intended to reflect the restrictions within this life, how they can effect us emotionally & perhaps serve as a reminder not to carry those restrictions into the after life. A single piece of fabric was used in this design, without cutting or piercing with a needle. Some cultures, ancient and modern, believe it an offense to God for the gift of fabric to be punctured. In addition, the concept of using as little tools as possible, only manipulating the materials with the human hand, was a great appeal. Signed & dated 1st & largest of edition of three, (sizes vary).
