This lovely lavender Charoite cabochon has been wire wrapped in Argentium Sterling Silver wire and accented with an Amethyst teardrop briolette.

Charoite an opaque gem material comes from Russia near the Charo River, hence the name. Colors of this beautiful stone range from this light lavender to deep dark purples, with unusual patterns that can be described as swirls, feathers, streaks or mottling that gives this stone it's distinctive signature. Charoite also has a slight to moderate chatoyancy giving the stone a silky or pearly luster.
