A bit whimsical, this handmade glass lampwork bead was lightly etched to give the white lacy swirl a frosting-like appearance. Definitely not edible! It makes me hungry just looking at it. The base is a hazy in spots, streaky, shadowy tube of Zimmerman Lilac Rose which contrasts nicely with the pure white wrap.



All photos have been taken in bright natural light and greatly enlarged in order to better show the details. This unique bead measures approximately 34mm long. It was made on a 1/8" mandrel for a larger stringing hole. Please see the photo with the penny for size reference (penny not included).



This handmade glass lampwork bead was torched by me in my studio in Kenosha, Wisconsin. All my glass beads are cleaned thoroughly and properly annealed in my digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability.
