This design is sort of an offshoot of the Love Rocks band, but taken up a notch! These rings have been hammered and filed and sanded and chased for a lovely mix of random tool marks.

Tools were one of the reasons I was so drawn to metalsmithing. And I also think they show the 'hand' in handmade. Sometimes it is best to not see the tool marks, but I wanted these rings to be all about tools and the texture they can create.

Each ring will be entirely unique, but hammered and loved on with a myriad of tools. This listing is for one 3mm ring.

They are made in wax, cast in palladium sterling and start out similarly to my subtlety bands and then are worked until the desired look is created.

Palladium sterling is a new alloy I've recently started using. It is very similar to regular sterling, though seems to be a tiny bit harder and is a bit more 'precious' due to the addition of palladium in the alloy. It has the same amount of fine silver, but less copper, so it is still considered .925/sterling.

A very light patina has been added.
