This bead was really hard to photograph. The picture doesn't show the color range of the Double Helix glass well.

I made this bead using a base of Moretti glass and then added dots of Double Helix glass on each side, alternating sides as I added the dots. I then topped the dots with a layer of clear glass and melted them in which resulted in making the triangle pattern on the beads. This glass varys in color as you go around the bead from shades of blues and greens. I added raised dots of Double Helix aurea glass which has a golden metallic look.

It measures 7 mm wide by 14 mm around. It has a large 5 mm hole which I silver cored using sterling silver tubing. It will fit on Pandora, Troll or Chamilia style bracelets.

The bead was kiln annealed and dremel cleaned prior to silver coring.
