This fundraiser honors a very special little English Bulldog, Bunny Heaven, who was a remarkable and charismatic ambassador for Bulldogs everywhere. This pattern was Bunny's trademark collar (although she did have a fondness for leopard prints).

Bunny joined the Gordon family of NJ on September 27, 2006 when she was rescued by Kara Gordon of HeavenSent Bulldog Rescue (HSBR) . The horrors of earlier years were undetectable in this lovely little girl who displayed her social talents immediately at her very first meet and greet. From that point on Bunny regularly attended fundraising and rescue awareness events, being featured several times on Philadelphia TV news, and newspapers throughout the Philadelphia area. She was well known for her affection toward strangers and especially for her magical kisses. People paid good money for a kiss from little Bunny. Bunny gave her final kisses on Tuesday night, Sept 20th, when she unexpectedly closed her eyes one last time. Although her job here is now done, her good work lives on in the hundreds of families and thousands of people who learned about the value and importance of animal rescue through this little sweetheart. Bunny touched many lives and we are saddened by her departure; we were all privileged to have known her.

In honor of Bunny, 50% of all money collected for the sale of dog collars and leashes in this pattern will be immediately transferred to HSBR. This is MY way of saying one more time "I love you Bunny-Bunz" XO.
