Medieval style necklace in sterling silver..this necklace is made on an anvil and sandbag very similar to the way sheilds were made in medieval times...the top sheild is 1 7/8" by 1 1/2" and has a rose cut 8mm faceted blue topaz, then hanging 1 1/4" below is a smaller sheild 1 1/4"tall by 3/4"wide with a hedraldic cross cast in bronze...necklace is on a 20"long sterling silver chain with a lobster catch...all links on necklace are soldered for strength...this is a great looking one of a kind old looking piece made the same way it would have been made in medieval times...
